What's the difference between 'Tree Care Expert' & 'Tree Surgeon'?

We use both terms as we want to show that we are not just experts in one aspect of tree care—we offer a full spectrum of services, from immediate, technical tree surgery to ongoing, preventive care. Whether you need urgent tree surgery or long-term advice to keep your garden in perfect shape, we have the experts to help!

Are the registered tree surgeons qualified?

To become a member of BranchOut UK, all registrants must be qualified tree care professionals. With a variety of qualifications available, we advise service users to ensure their qualifications align with the specific requirements of their role.

After I have submitted my request, who will contact me?

It is likely you will receive a telephone call from a BOUK team member so we can confirm your job request. 
We will inform our members in your geographical area that we have received your enquiry. 
They will access the member area where your details are stored and contact you by email, unless you give us permission to share your telephone number (we will ask you for permission).
You can of course share your telephone number directly with them when they email you.

What happens when tree surgeon/s reply to a user enquiry?

The user has the freedom to choose who to connect with for a quote and to complete the necessary work, with no obligation to accept any quotation. If they choose to accept a quotation, it creates an agreement between the user and the tree surgeon, company, or sole trader.

How long will it take to receive a response from tree surgeons?

Accepted Answer

Response times from members can vary depending on their workload and schedule. Generally, you can expect a prompt reply. However, since many tree surgeons are busy working on-site during the day, responses are often more likely in the evening or after business hours when they return to the office. 
If your request is an emergency (as indicated in the drop-down menu on the request form), we aim to get you fast assistance.

Am I under any obligation to choose any of the tree surgeons that contact me?

Once a quote has been accepted, what happens to my enquiry?

Accepted Answer

The status of enquiry will be changed from 'active' to 'inactive'.
The user surname and email will be removed to prevent further correspondence.

Finding a tree surgeon to help with your tree care requirements is completely free of charge with Branch Out UK.

In the rare event the standards of work fall below the standard you expect, you must contact the company/person in the first instance. We are unable to act in any capacity to arbitrate between parties.

As more tree surgeons join our network, we will broaden our coverage across the UK. If we have no members in your area, we'll work to find one who can register and respond to your enquiry.
