1.   Acceptance of Terms

By using this website, you (the Service User/Registrant) agree to the terms and conditions set out in this section. Please read them carefully.

1.1 Obtaining quotes is free for the user.

1.2 There is no obligation to proceed with any quotation obtained.

​​2.   About BranchOut UK (BUOK) 

BranchOut UK (BOUK) is the trading name of PlanB Strategy Ltd. It operates as an online marketplace which connects users with professional tree surgeons across the UK. BOUK does not represent, endorse, or guarantee the services provided by any registered business or sole trader (“the Registrants”).

​3.   Contract Between Service User and Registrant

Any contract entered into as a result of using BOUK is strictly between the Service User and the Registrant chosen by the Service User for tree surgery services. BOUK is exempt from any aspect of this contract and will not be responsible for any financial loss, damage, or other consequences, however caused.

​4.   BOU’s Role

BOUK does not participate in any contractual agreement between the Service User and the Registrant. BOUK is solely an online marketplace connecting services users with tree surgeon businesses.

​5.   Service User Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the Service User to ensure that the Registrant holds the relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and insurance before employing their services or beginning any work. BOUK makes no guarantees about the services provided by any Registrant.

​6.   Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between the Service User and Registrant are the sole responsibility of the parties involved. BOUK will not intervene in any capacity and is not liable for the outcome of any disputes.

7.   Age Restriction

Users of this website, must be 18 years or above.​

Professionals Joining BOUK

Registration/membership Terms

1. Qualification and Insurance

By registering and becoming a member, you confirm that you are a tree surgeon (or represent a company employing tree surgeons) and that you hold the necessary skills and insurance to conduct chargeable tree surgery activities in the United Kingdom.

2. Professional Conduct

You agree to act professionally in all communications with Service Users and other Registrants on the BOUK platform. BOUK reserves the right to cancel registration without refund or release from contractual obligations.

3. GDPR/Data Protection

By registering, you agree to receive communication from BOUK via email, covering everything from job-related enquiries to marketing/promotional messages.

Any photographs entered into our monthly photography competition may be used for any BOUK marketing activities.

You agree not to share any Service User data with third parties. You will handle all data in accordance with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UKGDPR).

4. Monthly subscription

Subscription- there are many plans to suit each member. See 'join as a tree surgeon'. The password can be obtained by contacting us.

5. Pay-As-You-Go 

Pay-As-You-Go- no upfront fee with variable commission based on job value. See 'join as a tree surgeon'. The password can be obtained by contacting us.

5.1 Commission must be paid in full to BOUK once payment is received from the client. BOUK will issue an invoice, and payment must be made within 7 days of the invoice date.

5.2 A copy of the client invoice/receipt should be emailed to BOUK as confirmation of the job cost.

5.3 A late payment fee of £10 per day will apply for each day payment is overdue, until the full amount is received.

5.4 Once the total commission paid has reached the equivalent to 150% of the Subscription plan (including any extra counties) the PAYG membership will automatically convert to a Subscription plan. This incurs a £25 administration fee.

6. Contact Information Responsibility

It is the responsibility of the Registrant to ensure that all contact information provided is up-to-date. BOU will send enquiries to the email address provided at the time of registration. Any changes to this information must be verified before taking effect.

7. Enquiries- Notification

Once BOUK receives an enquiry, it will promptly notify all Registrants within the specified GROUP, in relation to the geographical area. BOUK is not responsible for any delays, failure to deliver, or failure to receive an enquiry, regardless of the cause.

8. WhatsApp members group

BOUK operates a WhatsApp group called, 'Hang Tough', where members can offer support, share tips and network.

It is free to join, but there may be a charge for non members. Participants are expected to respect all other users and be polite and courteous.

8.1 Users should not use it for advertising services or products. No external links should be posted. Any messages or activity deemed inappropriate will be deleted. Group members may be removed at anytime at BOUK discretion. It does not affect the membership to BOUK unless felt detrimental to its values and ethics.

Competition Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
Various competitions are run by BranchOut UK, including the Monthly Photograph Competition.

2. Eligibility
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Employees of Branchout UK and their immediate families are not eligible.

3. How to Enter (each competition entry criteria is displayed in text)
BranchOut UK chose photographs from social media and shortlist them for display on their website. We do not accept entries.

4. Competition Period
This is detailed in the competition details.

5. Prize
Details of the prize will be provided in each month’s competition announcement. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.

6. Winner Selection
Branchout UK will judge all valid entries and select one winner based on creativity, originality, or alignment with the theme. Our decision is final.

7. Notification
The winner will be contacted within 7 days of the competition closing. If no response is received within 7 days, we reserve the right to select another winner.

8. Use of Entries
By entering, you give Branchout UK permission to share your submitted photographs on our website and social media.

9. Data
Your personal data will only be used to administer the competition, in line with our privacy policy.

10. General
Branchout UK may amend or cancel this competition at any time. This promotion is not affiliated with or endorsed by any social media platform.
